Project Description: The Incubator is a purpose built facility designed by Architectus as a meeting place for entrepreneurs and mentors as a place to create, collaborate, inspire, motivate and innovate. The whole exposed timber structure is made up of approximately 2,000m2 of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and 1,250l/m of Glulam as well as 760l/m of Victoria Iron Ash Australian hardwood for the ‘V’ columns used to support each roof cassette. The timber floor consists of 7,300l/m of pine LVL for the floor cassettes and roof battens and 1,800l/m of external decking.
